The purpose of this project was to design and animate loopable stage visuals for the DJ duo Soulfox. Rhythmic but disjointed imagery was used to create a frenetic but motivated feel. The challenge was in giving the loop a pulse that reacted to the music in a non literal, understated way. I determined the audio would manifest in the edits rather than in the animation itself. Giving the loop a continuous animation throughline without any starts or stops.
