MTN DEW TASTENOSIS

The purpose of this project was to animate a series of five fifteen second spots for Mtn Dew. Each spot would highlight specific flavors using varying color palates and animation styles. I primarily focused on the spot for the original green flavor but I worked on the other spots as well. While this was a large project with everyone spending a little time on all spots the green flavor was primarily my animation from start to finish. The challenge with this project was maintaining a smooth coherent camera. Much of the animation caused optical illusions which make the camera look like it isn’t moving when it is or vice versa. Because of this the physical position of the camera became completely irrelevant. Only the perceived motion of the eye mattered.
